Please meet Kevin, a courageous Colt who has overcome incredible adversity. Kevin arrived to us as an untouched 5 year old Colt, with a history as mysterious as it was heartbreaking. His owner had rescued him from a life of hardship, where he had been forced to fend for himself alongside 4 other stallions and 20 odd mares and foals. Despite being severely undernourished, Kevin's spirit remained unbroken. His owner approached Circle J to help transform Kevin into a confident riding pony. We embarked on a 6-week journey of groundwork education, teaching Kevin to trust and accept human touch. Witnessing Kevin's transformation from a fearful Colt to a trusting companion has been truly inspirational. Kevin's journey began with Orin, and their bond has been a joy to behold. As we reflect on Kevin's remarkable progress over the first 6 weeks, we are filled with hope and excitement for his future.
